It's been a while since I've blogged on here.

I basically had the best week of my life this week.
Things have just been going surprisingly well and I can't really explain it.
I mean, nothing life-changing has happened..
that I know of anyway..
but I'm shockingly more optimistic.
I love it.

Also, I'm addicted to nutella.
I told myself, buy a little container (which I did) and try to
make it last for a week.
It's 1/4 of the way full.. and I bought it yesterday. WHAT.
SOOO DELICIOUS.
And I had falafel for supper!
Mmm. I love organic yummy things.

My mom and I start our diet from the gym tomorrow.
Should be interesting!
I'm excited.
We're joining this "Biggest Loser" contest at the gym.
My goal personally isn't to win, but to feel more confident
and work out more and lose weight, obvi, to feel a little better.
Being a size 3 again would really rock.
Apparently, a size 7/8 is considered fat. HA.
Well, I'm fat then.
This is the heaviest I've been of all my 18 years.
It's kind of embarrassing.
Hopefully things will change by summer so I won't
be so embarrassed wearing a bathing suit. Yuck.

All right.
Going to watch the Rachel Papers with mom again!

I am 18 today.

Going to register to vote.
Going shopping in Towson.
Eating at PF Chang's for supper.
Cheesecake Factory for the unnecessary sugars but tasty goodness for dessert.

Reality Check.

Okay, wow.

It’s hard to believe this..
I’m going to be 18 in one week from yesterday/today.
November 3rd.

I can’t even wrap my head around this. 
It seems like a week ago I was just that
weird little 7th grader drama club geek who 
dressed funny and only had like 10 friends.

I’ve graduated high school. (It’s a miracle, I have no idea how.)
I’ve applied for jobs.
I’ve yet to get my permit because I don’t want to drive..
but I really need to.
I’m getting my ID on Friday.
I’m working on college courses.
I’m feeling older everyday and I really don’t like it.
I don’t want to be an adult.
I would give anything to be a kid, forever.

I think I’m going to audition for SYTYCD Season 8.
Yeah, I know that’s 2 seasons ahead, but I need time to better myself.
I want to do something meaningful to me.
I want to get out of Pennsylvania.
I want to get out of the US and see what I’ve been missing for 18 years.

Part of me is so ready to be an adult;
but the other part of me is so ready to keep being that weird little 7th grader.

Life is so amazing.

FREE HUGS DAY!!

Today is Free Hugs Day!!
I'm sooo excited!
I made a cardboard sign to wear around my neck
that says "FREE HUGS"!

Today is also my first "band" photo shoot!
Their name is HELLO HAWK and they consider themselves
"female-fronted, synth-infused, pop-punk goodness" and that
they certainly are! I really love them.

mustaches on and my latest obsession is kind of mustaches.
I think they are hilarious and can brighten up anyones day.

EDIT: Last night Jillian and I spontaneously decided to go see
Whip It! at 9:35.
Well.
We showed up at 9:45 which was apparently too late to even
bother seeing it, sadly.
Where the Wild Things Are was also showing at the same time
so we had to settle for Zombieland.
Which was pretty hilarious!!
Laughed my ass off. It was pretty funny, I think.
I would suggest it.

DREAM.

Dreams freak me out because they are either totally unrealistic
or they seem so real and then at some point they actually happen.
Hate that.
But anyways.. had a super weird dream last night.
It has to do with  my struggle for a job.

So, apparently I applied at DEB
but it was a super trendy, high class DEB.
With actual good clothing that didn't fall apart in 3 washes.
So basically,
There were like 15 of us who applied and they had us
working there competing for the job.
And the boss was the lady who plays Sue on Glee!
It was so ridiculous. Oh, geez.
So, basically everyone got this job except for this one
girl who was like perfect in every way or whatever.
That girl pissed off (let's call her Sue) Sue right in front of me,
so Sue whispered in my ear "Everyone from you on up is hired."
The girl was the last one next to me. So she was the only one. Haha!
Basically, it was really strange.
At the end, all the employees went into the back storage
room and rode a horse home.WTF.
Weirdest ever.

Thought I'd write that one down. Yikes.

Gooood.

Pretty great yesterday!
Went out to shoot some pictures for fun/whatever with Michelle.
Went to Starbucks and we talked for about an hour.
Went to school around 2:30 in the rain to help Molly with some
really interesting self-fulfillment project!
Visited the play practice kiddies.
Went to visit Simon with help for some Flickr stuff.
Went to visit Danielle to chat and watched Dexter!
Kauffman drove me home so I didn't have to walk in the rain!
Watched the Office, 30 Rock, and Sunny!

It was a pretttty great day.
I filled out an application for Garrick jewelers.
The boss = super nice!!
I think that I have a pretty good chance at this job. Eek!

Well, tonight is our Homecoming football game.. BLACK OUT!!
I'm sooo excited to sing with the choir, meet up with oldies, and watch the game!!

Tomorrow I'm going to take some photos of my friend, Lizz.
Then out to a wedding reception for my friend Erika who got married in Vegas!
I will be partied/pictured out!
Sunday will either be church with Kirsten or dance with Jenna.
Not sure yet. We'll see.
But then afterward, I think I'm going to take it easy.

Fail.

Every time I make plans, they fail.
Even plans within plans.

Kelsey and I were going to wake up
around 10 on Saturday so we could be ready
by noon to go to the Apple Harvest Festival..
I WOKE UP AT 2PM.
I didn't fall asleep until 7am, but still.
Kelsey woke up at like 12pm, I think.
So obvi we didn't go.
Plus, entry fee was like $9.
Wtf is that?
Oh. Rip off.

So.
We were like, okay.
Let's go finish Unit 1 and take some pictures.
We finished part of Unit 1 after we had pastries
and I did straddles on the trampoline for 20 minutes.
Then we got ready and left around 5 to go take pictures.
We got perfect timing though.. the sun/sunset was gorgeous!

Then we went to our signature place for supper...
INFINITOS!
That was a lot of fun, as usual.

All in all, we had a great time.

I watched Regina on SNL last night..
Was a little worried, though.
She sang Eet first, and of course I died it's like my fave of hers,
and she sounded sooo nervous and not like herself at all.
Then she sang The Calculation and was so relaxed! She's adorb.

I'm exhausted though..
Seeing as how I stayed up until 6am and woke up at 10.
This needs to stop. STAT.

Tonight I'm having a sleepover avec Kelsey.

This is going to ROCK. I think.

We're going to (hopefully) finish Unit 1 together tonight.

And write some songs on guitar.

Saturday we're going to take some photos.

Then off to the Apple Harvest Festival!! I'm so excited.

I love apples and fall. Hmm.

Sunday I have dance with Jenna

from 12-6.

That will be the best ever. I'm stoked!

Monday I am hanging out with Danielle

to watch movies! I'm super thrilled!

I think we're going to watch some film noir

and Away We Go! Yay!

I heart watching movies with her!

So, inevitably, this weekend will

be a major can of whoop ass, I think.

And I couldn't be more excited!

Off to pack and get ready.

but sometimes a part of me wishes that won't be the case..

It felt like fall today. Windy. Cold. Sunless. Also, I am far too pale. My neighbor, whom of which I have never spoken to, had this television sitting out on the curb. I asked her if she was getting rid of it for good. She said that she doesn't want it, doesn't know if it even works, and will probably take it to recycle on Saturday. Well. I fell in love with this sucker instantly. My room theme is vintage/victorian. This would be PERFECT. I want it sooo badly but I don't think mother will approve. Oh, and I colored my hair orange yesterday. (:

I’m totally in like with the following bands. If you do not know them, look them up. If you hate them, that’s cool. Whatever. But appreciate it because I think it’s pretty great music.

Holy Indie. This music is soo great. It really kinda rips my heart out.

I have finally decided: I’m a sucker for music of any kind, but indie/indie rock really tears my heart right out of my chest.

I really miss this.

Doing this benefit concert was SO much fun with Hillary, Ross, and Jesse.

They really helped me grow as a person and as a performer. I love them :-)

This particular concert was benefitting the Save the Music Foundation.

The money raised goes to the foundation to help keep music programs in schools.

This is really important to me because without music in high school and middle school, 

I would not have had this same journey. Music is by far in my mind the most amazing

thing on the planet.

Hopefully we will have another concert coming up! :-)
